The second quarter of 2024 saw diverse performance trends among the top five News and Magazines apps in Bulgaria. These insights are derived from Sensor Tower's data, providing a comprehensive overview of weekly downloads and active users.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar experienced moderate growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 357 in the week of May 20. Active users showed a steady increase over the quarter, starting at around 2.1K and reaching approximately 2.8K by the end of June.

Way2News Daily News App had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping from 413 in mid-April to just 87 in the last week of June. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, maintaining around 8.8K to 9.3K throughout the quarter.

Nova saw significant spikes in downloads, particularly in early June, with a peak of 602 downloads in the week of June 3. The app maintained a variable download rate, ending the quarter with 261 downloads in the final week.

Google News - Daily Headlines demonstrated consistent performance in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads hovered around the 250-300 range, while active users showed slight fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 63.6K.

Tomorrow's Affairs had a varied download trend, peaking at 382 downloads in mid-May but dropping to 47 by the end of June. Active users saw growth early in the quarter, peaking at 2.4K in mid-May before stabilizing around 1.9K towards the end of June.
